Aleyda K. Mejia
Trained as an industrial and systems engineer, Aleyda began her career as a Business Analyst where she developed a foundation in data analysis and process optimization. Her career trajectory has since evolved, encompassing roles such as Project & Program Manager, Director of Operations, Interim/Fractional COO, and Executive Director for the nonprofit and small business communities. Aleyda’s experience reflects her versatility, organizational skills, and compelling leadership.
In her various roles, Aleyda has demonstrated the ability to oversee and synchronize diverse teams, including both domestically and abroad, to achieve objectives and surpass expectations. Her extensive experience spans working with philanthropists, engineers, scientists, researchers, administrators, educators, attorneys, and consultants, allowing her to navigate and manage a wide range of professional environments with comfort and ease.
Aleyda has also been a dedicated advocate for young women in engineering, providing coaching and mentoring to help them navigate their education and careers. She has been a STEM tutor and served as an educational advocate, supporting students who needed additional guidance and resources.
Through professional and leadership experiences, Aleyda has gained a unique combination of skills that includes an ease of technical comprehension, a refined ability to view from a diverse and holistic perspective, and effective team management for teams in the US and abroad. Aleyda completed the 2019 Certified Online Business Manager and 2020 Certified Director of Operations programs. She founded Coevolving Solutions Inc. to proudly and zealously serve entrepreneurs and small businesses.
